Sochi Glam Squad – The other side of Sochi

Did you guys watch the Opening Ceremony last night? While its certainly monotonous to watch people walking and carrying their country’s flag, you can’t help but smile and feel so excited for each and every athlete. (And horrible for those who injured themselves on the first day. Sad Face)

Other than the fact that I thought the Team USA uniforms looked like they were going to an ugly sweater party, there’s another side of Sochi I was just introduced to: Sochi Glam!

I have a few contacts out in Sochi for P&G and apparently there’s a P&G Family Home where
families of U.S. Olympians, as well as Olympians from all over the world, have a place that provides more than 1,200 hours of everyday services including salon treatments, food service and mobile device charging stations, to name a few, that make an extraordinary difference when families are far from home. The Family Home also serves as a venue where families can view Olympic events, relax, and spend time together.

How fun!

Well, the best part: They have a WHOLE salon (and I mean: sinks, blow-out stations, nail stations, grooming chairs for men, etc) within the house where moms, dads, and athletes can receive ‘Biathlon Braids’ from Pantene, patriotic nail-art from COVERGIRL, and 5-Minute Mini Facials from Olay to name a few.

So, what’s trending in Sochi Glam you ask? I got a few pics. What do you think of the looks? And really, you guys agree about the ugly sweater party thing right?
