Its thirsty Tuesday! Today’s drinks are made with scotch, which is not normally my beverage of choice, but have you seen the new Scotch honey flavors, they’re actually really good. The recipes below are made with DEWAR’S Highlander Honey.
I love some sweet and sour drinks, and how cute is adding a honey spoon to these drinks?
Honeysuckle Sour
1.5 oz. DEWAR’S Highlander Honey
.5 oz. Cointreau
.5 oz .fresh-squeezed lemon juice
.5 oz. fresh-squeezed orange juice
1 bar spoon sugar
Method: Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled 5 oz. cocktail glass. Garnish with orange zest.
Honey Apple Highball
1.5 oz. DEWAR’S Highlander Honey
2 oz. pressed apple
1 wedge fresh lime
Top with Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer
Method: Squeeze wedge of lime over cubed ice in a small tumbler glass, add DEWAR’S Highlander Honey and press apple juice and top with Ginger Beer
