New year, new you, but eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring! I visited my friends over at PIX11 to help spice up our snacks so we stay on track with our resolutions.

Breakfast
Eggs with sriracha – eggs are a great source of protein and the added kick will help turn this into a delicious treat, you’ll forget its just eggs. (I also do this with grilled chx breast)
Oatmeal energy bites
Baked apples with Kind Healthy Grain Clusters
Salty Snacks
Baked zucchini chips – slice zucchini, sprinkle some olive oil and sea salt and bake.
chickpeas with salsa and some low fat cheese.
For the sweet tooth:
banana “ice cream” – made with frozen bananas.
Ricotta with chopped pear and cinnamon
Watermelon with balsamic vinegar, (also delicious if you add some feta to it.)
Mango – with lime, salt and chili power –
Can also do this with pineapple – though pineapple isn’t allowed on some diets bc it’s high glycemic
