5 Bubbly Cocktails To Ring In the New Year

Bubbly is a New Year’s eve staple, but if you’re looking to up your bubbly game this year, I’ve rounded up some fun and delicious sparkling cocktails to wow your guests. Every party is better with bubbly.

1) Bubbly & Elderflower liqueur – this drink is near and dear to my heart because it was one of the signature drinks at my wedding. Delicious, refreshing and easy to make!

1/2 part St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur

1/2 part Brut Cuvée or Dry Sparkling Wine

Optional Garnish: Strawberry

2) Prosecco Pom Pom – Pomegranate and Prosecco are delicious together, and you definitely need to make this cocktail. To kick it up a notch, add some pomegranate perils into the glass. Yum!

  • 1 1/2 ounces Pomegranate Juice
  • 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  • 3 1/2 ounces Barefoot Bubbly Prosecco
  • Dash each of Ginger & Cinnamon Spice
  • Optional Garnish: Pomegranate Perils
  1. Into a cocktail shaker with ice, add pomegranate juice, simple syrup and spices
  2. Shake, Shake, Shake
  3. Strain into champagne flute
  4. Top with Prosecco

3) Aperol Spritz – If you’ve never had an Aperol spritz, you’re going to want to change that this NYE. Also a great option for brunch the next day.

How do you make it? This drink is as easy as 3-2-1

3 parts Prosecco

2 parts Aperol

1 part club soda

Make a big batch and you’re good to go! Easy and delicious, who doesn’t love that!

4) Cranberry & Spice Sparkler – If you want to hold onto the holiday season a bit longer, make this festive cocktail. Delicious and oh so pretty! Who doesn’t love a cocktail that has seasonal flavors!?

  • 3 oz. Barefoot Bubbly Brut Cuvee
  • 1 1/2 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • 1 oz. Apple Juice
  • 1/4 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 2 heaping teaspoons Brown Sugar
  • Dash of Clove Spice
  • Sugar & Clove Spice Rim
  1. Rim chilled cocktail glass with lemon
  2. Dip into sugar and clove mixture.
  3. Into a cocktail shaker with ice, add apple and lemon juice, brown sugar and dash of clove spice.
  4. Shake, Shake, Shake
  5. Strain into sugar rimmed cocktail glass.
  6. Top with Bubbly

5) Tequila Sparkler – I love silver tequila, and I love bubbly, and with this cocktail, I don’t have to choose, which makes it a winner in my book! Make a big batch and your friends will love you!

  • 1 part Sauza® Signature Blue Silver Tequila
  • ½ part lime juice
  • ½ part simple syrup
  • 4 parts bubbly (chilled)
  1. In a shaker with ice, add tequila, lime juice and simple syrup
  2. Shake, Shake, Shake
  3. Pour into glass
  4. Top with Bubbly
